Please check if usernames are available before requesting by typing this in your address bar:

Name changes weren't allowed initially because all the admins had a very high workload with the new site. Now that we've matured as a community I don't see a reason we should keep this stance. The privacy policy will be updated within the next day or two but I'm going to begin allowing them now.

Restrictions: You may only have your name changed once every 3 months. Your new name must be available and must consist of only alphanumeric characters (a-z, A-Z, and 0-9) to maintain compatibility with the wiki (even if you don't edit the wiki it's still required).

Please use this thread only for requesting a name change. Admins, please post when you have completed the change and leave a user note for the user you changed citing the old account name and the date of the change. You can post a user note by going to the user's profile, selecting "Statistics", and then "Post a User Note".

Requests where the name is not available or that are sooner than 3 months will be ignored.

Be advised: If you change your name and you're a wiki editor, you will lose your postbit edit count.

Please do not delete any completed requests or edit them.

Also, I'll request that staff members not request name changes - for obvious reasons.

Anyway, may I have my forum alias changed to "Vith" (without quotes) please? The reason why I am asking for this change, is because I didn't want to be known from my forum alias at MT (didn't plan on staying active here [not the case now]), although I do regret that now.

The username is available, and thank you very much in advance. Again, it is much appreciated.

Updated. Admins please check the user notes for Vith for a template on how to annotate these changes.

I know this is redundant, but please notify your friends reagrding your name to avoid confusions (and possibly problems)

I know this is a bit dumb but...could you change my name from allea to Allea please? Don't like having first letter not capitialized...seems improper, but yea if it's not too much trouble.
