Before I start, please look at the below 2 pictures:
They seem the same...just with different images...but is that really the case? @_@
Here's the thing, normally the 1st one (Random Map) can be set up when you first trying to create the room;
for the 2nd one (Random Select Map) can only be set up after you created the room
I mumbled a lot...but what's the difference exactly? -_-
Well, the 1st one we all know what it does, randomly select a map out of all available maps
The 2nd one, is where we can let the system randomly select a map from 2 to 8 maps of our own choice!
Here's the steps in how to do it in picture:
Ok when you go to the Select Map setting (right beside Room setting),
click on the "Random Select On/Off" to turned it on,
at this point you first see the "Random Map" option is greyed off.
Ok now let's start selecting the map we want:
Oops!! Can't select more than 8 maps~
Ok there we go,
all set up now,
now the system will randomly select a map from these 8 maps I selected:
Something else to know...you need to select a minimum of 2 maps for this "Random Select Map" to work:
If you turned on "Random Select On/Off" but you only selected 1 map...
Dang...now it's no different than just selecting that map,
as you can see the background turned to the 1 map you just selected:
By using this, you can eliminate some of the maps you don't like, like for me that'd be the water map =.=
(other may be snow base, moon wreck, or arena map for some people)
The original source came from this guy in the Taiwanese forum, seriously a lot of people including me never knew it til today...
(I saw the different background before but I never knew what it was about
