That's pretty good for your first sig.
Make sure that when you brush, the color you want is the first square.
If that's not the case, when you make something new, make sure the color mode is RGB.
Or, go to Image > Mode and switch the color mode.
Also, you may want to save your sigs in .png format. As you can see, it's a bit blurry because you saved in in .jpg.
.png is best if you want to keep the quality relatively high.
Consider placing your stock in a better location to improve the overall flow of your sig.

Also, use colors that blend with your stock.
I understand that you had an issue with the color showing up, but it's just a little reminder. (:
