Oooh, a recipe thread.
Okay, i'll contribute with my fave cookie recepie, Rosenmunnar, a Sweedish cookie with jam on top. They're super flaky and buttery and awesome. o-o
- 2 cups of flour
- 1 cup of butter
- half a cup of sugar
- 1/3 to 1/2 cup of jam or preserves
1. Preheat oven to 350F
2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter and the sugar, then gradually add the flour.
3. Roll olive sized pieces of dough into balls, then place on ungreased cookie sheet, 1 inch apart. Make a small indentation and fill with jam. I like to put mine in one of those mini cupcake pans to make little tarts.
3. Bake 15-18 minutes or until lightly colored. Remove from oven and cool on pan for about 5-10 minutes, until the molten hot jam sets.
