People are thinking this is a "forum only" event. The site is the entity hosting it, but this is a convention for all MMO gamers. It won't be limited to just the games we feature on this site. Other fansites will be invited to come, other publishers will be contacted for sponsorship/events. Naturally, our largest attendance will be from the NORCAL area but we'll make it worth the while of people travelling in from out of state/country.
On that note, I've sent an RFI to somewhere I think will be suited for it. Once we have a location secured and programming tentatively established, registration will open. Once registration opens, the convention
will happen. I won't open it before there is a solid plan in place.
