i think eventually NA will get updates, remember Jpn is a year ahead, and when you think about it, NA is only at 5k facebook likes while Jpn is at 700k downloads, that's 140 times its lifespan!
having said that i see no reason not to play Jpn version over NA
i think since they have a set of updates already developed on the Jpn side, it's very difficult to fit the same content into the american market, think ECO and gunma, tha'ts the dilemma i'm seeing
