Just plain wow. Episode 8 shows a lot of more Ichiko flashbacks that fully explains her stuck-up attitude towards everyone and fear of getting close to people (AKA friendship building). Ranmaru ended up becoming my favorite (human) character of the bunch so far... MUUU APPLEJACKS!!!!
