naga breaking the team out of prison was also really neat.

i'm looking forward to season 2, but i can't tell what direction they'll take with it. they could have korra guiding republic city, since there are still going to be lots of disgruntled equalists and the criminal benders are bound to resurface in some way. they could even have her tour the world solving 'major' problems or teaching spiritual renewal, which is what i'd like to see.

i wonder who the next villainous character will be.

They never mentioned how Amon was able to take away bending, or who taught him, or if Amon was the only one who knew the technique. Whoever he learned it from, and how that originated would make a good plot continuation for season 2.
