After a (quick) look at the article itself, this is what I found:

NEW STUFF: Spicy will get a new appearance and stats, maybe possibly new functions for pets which they're nebulously planing for, guardians will be renewed and also a new guardian

Finally they plan to release the prologue for a whole new Episode in kTO by the end of this year, in jTO in early 2013 and who knows when in eTO
