But one of the core tenets of catholicism is "If it feels good, stop."
I guess it would work well in the setting, but not as a main religion, a tech-dystopia society with people modding themselves with electronics would put pleasure very high on their list, so most of them wouldn't like catholicism.
BUT.
There would probably be a lot of people that would think that cyber modifications would be wrong and would think the world is going to shit because everyone is too indulgent.
