Adobe Premiere? I derno. If Moviemaker is crashing, you might want to check trial versions of other programs to see if they'll even work on your PC, before you make an investment. Movie-editing software tends to be pretty memory-intensive (not sure if that's why it crashed on you, but that's why Premiere used to crash on my old laptop).
