Pick depraved, turns out to be the worst starting class. Spend nearly an hour trying to get past skeletons when they gave no souls and were too strong, but I didn't know. THISGAMEMAN. Find another place to go, probably where I'm supposed to go first, gets a lot easier. Then continuously cut wrists getting past the first real boss and a dragon.
