It's better to get things like back pain taken care of early before it gets worse, so I'd advise to go see a chiropractor. Something you can do is to try and eat foods that are high in vitamin D, magnesium and vitamin B12 (cereals and fish are great sources for all three), these naturally help strengthen your bones and help prevent muscle spasms that can lead to back pain.
