Grandison cringed at hearing his "name". He certainly was feeling second thoughts about helping out in this situation when he could be making his way home. Why was he here again? Oh right random angel who saved him from rubble. He didn't have time to linger on those thoughts though as more bird-cicles attacked. He quickly directed fire to surround him, effectively stopping anything that aimed to hit him. When the assault ended he then directed a torrent blast of flames towards the boy (Acedia).
Emilio nodded, at his cousin in agreement but then they were attack as well. He flew up into the air and flew over the area of the fight, dodging some of the projectiles. He formed a light shield to block an oncoming attack. It wasn't strong enough though and it went straight through hurting his arm.
