In case you guys didn't know yet, she is actually more related to Dio than Duel. She is Duel's old flame's reincarnated form who grew up with Dio, and she has no memories of her past life. She was ninja'd into the game by the developers because she was crucial to the story, but I guess they didn't want to add another NPC that no one will know about cause everyone skips the dungeon text anyway.
