I'll do a brief translation of the the refining part of KR update:

(Looking at the huge charts makes me dizzy = =) So i'll keep it simple

1. Equipment Level Changes and Refining changes
-All Equipment are now differentiated by colors. Different types of quality of equipments have different kinds of refining rates.
-All refining rates has been modified.

2. Party system change
-Party Quest EXP improved
-->basically the more people the higher exp each person will get.
-Party quest completion requirement changed
-->When you complete an party quest, it is taken the same way as any other monster quest.

Details on Refining changes:

Color differentiation:

The ranks are:
Old - Grey
Normal - White
Special - Yellow
Rare - Green
Unique - Blue
Legendary Unique - Purple

How EQs looks like now:

The star means the rarity of the item

Refining rates:
Old rates:


New Rates:
All the same now and is based on Equipment refining level.


The chart tells how much % of the base value will change

For example: Legendary Unique such as boss EQ lvl1 refine will +20% to original value. At a max of adding 380% at level 13

The item's value will now be determine by refining level. The higher the refining value the higher the value of the item.

For some items with preset values such as quest reward items. The values will change differently. Their base will get boosted at certain refining level at the cost of lower refining bonus, but will be better than the original formula.


-These items are Mirage/Gaia - gets a 30% bonus of base value at any of the values.
-Chaos/Requiem etc gets no bonus until +5 refining which is 10% of base,
-Normal gets no bonus until +5, which then gives 10%, then at +8 up gives 20%
-Old stuff gets nothing until 5+ which will be 10% bonus of base and adds 10% more per each rank up to high

(kinda hard to explain this new concept so GM gives a new chart)



E.g. An Mirage item at lvl 11 with base 100def will have refining value of +260
But instead it will now by 130def base and +247 refining value



Cash items will have another bonus formula Like level 13 +172 becomes +250

(Not 100% what are classify under all of these categories)

They changed refining items because getting rare refining items for 171-200 could be pain. So they said just screw it and unified it.
171-190 and 191 to 200 will now unify under 171-200 and uses the same stones
321-360 gets new category and stones.
361+ will be given a new mine and probably new stones

(ALL the other remaining charts that I didn't bother translate retains to which stones will be used + how many will need etc.) [hurts my eyes to even translate so skipped = =]
