Nathaniel looked up at the sound of the door creaking open, seeing a well dressed Layla emerge from the opening. A small hint of surprise could barely be traced on Nathaniel's cold expression as his partner took a seat beside him, all smiles and sunshine.
...Impressive. Even Nathaniel thought the girl looked quite radiant in proper form and dress. He was sure a short conversation with her would change all that, however.
" You're late. " Nathaniel quipped, affording her a short glance before giving his attention to the ones that followed after her. He recognized Seonwu and Lau from the other day, but the other two were a pair of new faces to him.
" Have a seat. " Nathaniel said, giving a signal to the waitress to serve the appetizer while they chatted.
