Actually a good breakfast really does help. The key is to have something with a low glycemic index, so you don't just get a sugar spike in your blood after breakfast, but rather a gradual rise over a couple of hours. Try having wholegrain bread or cereal, or perhaps some oatmeal. You'll find that you'll have the energy to get you through to lunch and beyond, even.
