aa after sidestep you still need to point in which direction you want to aa if you 22as then you will be facing 8 so you need to hit 6aa. I don't even think it cancels the sidestep it just aa after it's over. I still wouldn't recommend aa since it just adds to more button presses and you could easily get 2 more hits anywhere else in your combo.
im basically doing that buy with frontal wm and its better cause i shift while at it
