I- Leveling

IA) Level 1-20

Level 1 ~5

- Quests : Follow the quests the starting town gives you to help on leveling. Take both Hero Quest(!) + Normal Quests (!)

- Mission Map : Big Bad Wolf (North / South Wndia Plains)

- Skills : Pressing / Holding X (normal attack key) is faster then using Point Buster at this point.

Level 6~12/13

- Quests : Follow the quests at starting town / Vega map to help on leveling. Take both Hero Quest(!) + Normal Quests / Wanted Board (!). Remember to finish up your Hero Quests before you move onto Tutu.

- Mission Map : Vegas (Windia Flats)

- Skills : Pressing / Holding X (normal attack key) is still recommended at this spot. Remember to cast Focus for a nice jump on your MATK.

Level 12/13 ~ 16

- Quests : Follow Hero Quest(!) + Normal Quests(!) / Wanted Board (!) paired to the Tutu MM and related maps close by / Port of the winds. Repeat F4 inside Tutu mission map to level after the quests are completed.

- Mission Map : Tutu (West Traitor's Ridge)

- Skills : Point Buster + Meteor Fall makes a handy combo to clear the monsters in groups. X (Normal attack) is still recommended for single / few monsters.

Level 17-20
- Quests : Follow Hero Quest(!) + Normal Quests(!) / Wanted Board (!) near Toto area + Port of the wind. Repeat F4 after quests are done.

- Mission Map : Toto ( East Traitor's Ridge)

- Skills : The monsters here will hurt quite a lot if your HP is low. Bringing more pots / having Self Heal is recommended here.

- Class Change : Class change to BattleMage is available at Level 20 at the town Port of the Winds. Find the Job instructor for Mage (Located at Top right of the map) for class change related quests.

IA) Level 20-40

Level 20 ~ 26

- Quests :
Continue to follow Hero Quest(!) + Normal Quests(!)/ Wanted Board (!) for a boost of EXP. Do not take the ones you know you're not going to whack at the White Tooth Mission map.

- Mission Map :Captain White Tooth (Bearded Whale Coast)

- Skills : Ball Lightning + normal attack. Endure until Level 27 for Blizzard, another non-miss skill.

Level 27 ~ 30

- Quests : Continue to follow Hero Quest(!) + Normal Quests(!) / Wanted Board (!) . You can ignore some of the normal quests if they're not nearby your leveling area yet.

- Mission Map : Alvida (Steven Trading Port)

- Skills : Blizzard..Ball Lightning. Magic Missle / Tornado awaiting the cooldown. Mana Shield Level 1 is also recommended from now on.

Level 30 ~ 36

- Quests : It is now up to you whether you wish to finish all the Hero Quest(!) beyond Dr.Farrell. But since we're going to be leveling at Artis anyway, why not do the Hero Quest for him also? There are also some Normal Quests (!) / Wanted Board (!) related to Artis.

- Hidden Map : Scrolls are dropped by White Tooth / Artis. It is recommended you spend some time inside to grab some Devil Soulstone(DSS) for chaos leveling at the next stage.

- Chaos Mission Map : Chaos White Tooth (Chaos Bearded Whale Coast) / Chaos Toto (Chaos East Traitor Ridge)

- Mission Map : Artis (Mirinae Sanctuary)

- Skills : Blizzard, Ball Lightning, Tornado, and Magic Missle. Magic Missle is very useful at bosses.

Level 35 ~ 39 (A)
- Chaos Mission Map : Chaos White Tooth (Chaos Bearded Whale Coast) / Chaos Alvida (Chaos Steven Trading Port)
- Skills : Blizzard, Ball Lightning, Tornado, and Magic Missle. Magic Missle is very useful at bosses. Remember to use Mana Shield for defense.

Level 37 ~ 39 (B)

- Quests : Libra / Valid Raeth Hero Quest(!) + Normal Quests(!) / Wanted Board (!) are recommended. Repeat F4 mission maps for rapid leveling.

- Mission Map : Sambaba (Valid Raeth)

- Skills : Blizzard, Ball Lightning, Tornado, and Magic Missle. Magic Missle is very useful at bosses. Remember to use Mana Shield for defense.

Level 38~40 (C)

- Mission Map : Bubo F4 (Forgotten Forest)

NOTE: You can only do ths if you have a friend that can go inside Bubo and able to kill the monsters fast.

- Tactics: You must lure the boss away from your friend so he can focus on hitting the monsters. Lure him to a corner and keep on jumping to avoid his attacks. Move away when he uses the poison attacks (He'll sit there and starts jumping up and down) Use some VIT gear if possible to boost your chances of survival if you get hit multiple times.

Class Change:
Find Pablo at Libra. Do the required Hero quests and kill Lavalon to complete Part 1. Part 2 (Normal quest) asks you to combo at smoldering swamp. Now you're promoted to WarMage.

IA) Level 40 ~ 65

Level 40 ~ 44/46

- Mission Map : Sambaba (Valid Raeth)

- Skills : Blizzard, Ball Lightning, Tornado, and Magic Missle. Later on pair with Snow Blues, BackDraft.

Level 46 ~ 60 (2 people)

- Mission Map : Bubo (Forgotten Forest)

- Skills : Blizzard mainly.. Snow Blues / BackDraft if needed.

Note: Exp until level 60 is still very good at Bubo if you got two people, so if you cannot find a 4 people party to go elsewhere, here is a good solution. Ask the other person to lure the boss away while you hit the monsters.

Level 48 ~ 65 (4 people)

- Chaos Field Map : Chaos Smoldering Swamp

Note: Head towards the rightmost side of this map and you'll see two lanes, 2 people on 1 lane, the other 2 on the other is the best setup. You can also earn a lot of weapon powder / souls here for refining at the same time.

Level 55 ~ 65 (2~ 4 people)

- Chaos Field Map : Chaos Ocher Forest

NOTE: After you jump up to elluman mission map, to the right if you jump down, there's a few nice spot there to share your EXP on inside a party. Be aware, since the new patch has arrived, monsters above level 60 have gotten a huge HP / attack boost.

- Chaos Mission Map : Chaos Elluman (Chaos Ocher Forest)

NOTE: Same as field, ever since the new patch has arrived, monsters above level 60 have gotten a huge HP / attack boost. Go inside F4 boss room, 1 person lure the boss to the top left, and we'll Blizzard the monsters along with Snow Blues / BackDraft.

- Useful when monsters are close to you. This will help you stun the monsters for a second or so for you to finish casting your spells.

III- Equipment

This part will focus on higher level equipment. For lower equipment, it gets changed very fast as your level progresses easier.

For lower level sets / chaos sets, I recommend getting INT on the options as monsters does not whack as tough as later stages.

Equipment Beyond Lv 50
- Elluman Crown (Lv 54)
STR+ 8
INT+ 18
AGI+ 12
VIT +5

- Farrell's Rubber Gloves (Lv 27)
STR +4
INT + 15
AGI + 6
VIT + 3

- Vella's Wings (Lv 51)
INT + 10%
MP RECOVERY + 50%

- Mimir Shaman's Ring (Lv 55)
STR + 3
INT + 6
AGI + 5

- Earring / Necklace / Ring of Darkness (Lv 60)
*Note, now that Grand Hall is gone, these are not obtainable anymore.
1 set: INT+ 7
2 set: MP +300
3 set: decrease matk damage by 10%
- Level 54 Set (2 pieces) / Level 54 Chaos Set (3 pieces)
Mix and match 2 and 3 pieces any way you wish.

54 2 pieces bonus : INT + 18
54 chaos 3 pieces bonus : INT +45

INT VS VIT
-Which one should we get?
Of course is best we can have a [Special] with both INT / VIT together. If it is not possible, is best to mix some pieces of INT, and some VIT.

1. VIT main, INT minor
-
Damage will definitly get lowered, but for bosses and later monsters like COF, VIT will surely save your life.

2. INT main, VIT minor
-
If you got someone to tank your monsters, or you're just leveling normally, Damage will be a better choice to kill the monster faster. Monster die faster..more EXP for you (waste less time on killing)

Thanks for reading my guide for WarMage. This is my first time writing a guide..hopefully it'll be helpful to you ><
